Comfort is key! Most students are in casual dress, with some in more business casual clothing if they come to the studio straight from work. We encourage you to wear something you can freely move in.
Women: For beginners, we encourage a pair of flats. All shoes, whether flats or heels, should be securely attached to your foot and heel.
Men: We suggest men wear dress shoes.
Students may wear sneakers or tennis shoes, but their grip can sometimes hinder certain turns and movements. Flip-flops are highly discouraged.
We have you covered! As a proud distributor for Very Fine Dance Shoes, we’re happy to help you pick out a pair of shoes that meets your needs. Order shoes through Latin Expressions online here or stop by the studio and request to see our dance shoes catalog or purchase online.
Yes, we do! Please visit our Contact page to get in touch.
Attendance for all classes within a course is encouraged. Our classes are designed to build upon each other as you move through the course, each one adding new technique and moves from the previous week.
To avoid missing out and feeling lost, we highly recommend you consider choosing a month where your schedule allows you to take full advantage of the classes.
That said, we know life happens! If missing a class is unavoidable, we encourage you to consider taking a private lesson with your instructor or consult with them about other make-up options.
